News in the World of Physics...

CERN - Do you want to know the true story about the physics of antimatter, the Higgs field, CERN, the Antiproton Decelerator, the Large Hadron Collider, the Proton and Super Proton Synchroton, and more?  Check out the exciting world of the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

Physics News - This is a great current awareness source!  Get the latest news on nanotechnology, physics, earth, astronomy and space, chemistry, and other sciences.  Features include news postings by timeline, top news of the week section, and science news wire/press release postings. Get the latest on science news as it evolves. And there's more! 

 Science Daily - Another good source for the latest research new.  This links directly to the Physics News page.  You can choose to keep up with the latest news via RSS Feed, Facebook,Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and/or mobile apps

Interactions.org - The focus here is on particle physics.  The site contains press releases, articles, news, event listings, images, and more. 

Physics Today News - supported by the publishers of Physics Today magazine, this site tracks the latest news in physics.  Lists contents of current issues of the journal - no full-text access provided.

Where is...

Library books on physics are found in the general collection in the "QC" section which is located on the second floor of the library, back wall, facing the Labuda Theatre.  Physics reference materials are cataloged with a "REF QC..." on the spine of the book and these are shelved in the Reference Collection against the back wall on the first floor. 

Use the Journal Titles Search link (under the blue Search button on the library home page) to find full-text articles in Physics journals in the library physical and e-journal collection.
