Using EVideos in Instruction: Tools

Looking for video content to add to online courses?

Trexler Library provides access to thousands of streaming videos through two databases: Films on Demand and Academic Videos Online. These videos can be embedded into Blackboard for easy access for a course and are great resources to help students understand complex topics.

You can browse our evideo content by searching in the box below. 

If you need help finding evideos for your courses, contact the librarians at reference@desales.edu.

The databases can be searched in combination in the above search box. To search in and use the tools of each database, follow these steps:

1. Go to the library's homepage and select A-Z Databases.
2. Open Films on Demand or Academic Video Online (AVON) from the list.
3. Search through the databases; use the other tabs of this guide to learn how.
4. In order to use the advanced tools for either database, you will need to create an account. This is not automatically your myDSU information. You will need to create your individual account using your DeSales email.
