Tips!

1.Check your firewall settings when having download issues.   This is one of the main reasons users have trouble downloading books.

2.On iOS and Android devices, we recommend to use the Adobe Digital Editions app, which is free from the Apple App Store and Google Play. You can use other reader apps as long as they are able to handle the Adobe DRM (Digital Rights Management). Search in the app store of your choice for e.g. 'adobe drm reader' or just 'adobe drm' to get a list of potentially suitable apps.

3.Different browsers can have different response rates when downloading materials from ProQuest Ebook Central - If you are having issues with one browser, try another (i.e. if Internet Explorer or Google Chrome is giving you issues, try using Firefox, etc.)

4.ProQuest Ebook Central "Plug-in Reader"- The ProQuest Ebook Central "Plug-in Reader" no longer works with newer versions of Firefox and IE. Instead, ProQuest is recommending that users utilize the Unity Reader and Quickview options.

5.Bookshelf -Make sure you are signed into ProQuest Ebook Central to use the bookshelf tool. This will allow you to create and save highlights and notes in texts, organize books in folders, and share your library with others.

6. Remember to Export your citation!
