Click the red star for a brief tutorial of how to do a basic search. A comprehensive database supporting research on crime, its causes and impacts, legal and social implications, as well as litigation and crime trends. As well as U.S. and international scholarly journals, it includes correctional and law enforcement trade publications, dissertations, crime reports, crime blogs and other material relevant for researchers or those preparing for careers in criminal justice, law enforcement and related fields. Included is approximately 200 full text journals.

How to Get Help

Schedule an Appointment with a Librarian
Meet with a librarian to discuss the research process, literature reviews, citation, and style guides. Librarians are available for appointments in person or virtually and during the evenings.

Get help right when you need it but clicking on the Ask Us button on this and many of our web pages. You'll be connected with a librarian over chat who can address your problems. If a librarian isn't available, enter a question or browse the questions previously answered.

Interlibrary Loan Article Request
If Trexler Library does not have full text of an article, or you find one online that asks you to pay, we can get it to you for free through another library. Fill out this form with the article's information, and a PDF will be emailed to you. Wait time is generally 1-2 business days.
English Language Learners
