Faculty Librarian Collaboration
With the vast array of growing information each year, it has become vital that students develop comprehensive information literacy skills in order to become lifelong learners. This is where Trexler Librarians can aid you in educating your students.
Trexler Librarians welcome the opportunity to collaborate with our faculty to incorporate information literacy skills into their existing courses. We work with students in exploring library resources, developing search strategies, and thinking critically about how to approach information. This can take the form of one or more instruction sessions, developing class assignments, or team teaching.
Information literacy sessions are most effective when scheduled to coordinate with students beginning to work on an assignment.
