Trexler Library from Home

Trexler Library will continue to assist Desales students, faculty, and staff during a period of virtual education. We will maintain the following services during hours the library is open and hours dedicated to virtual help.

All books currently checked out will be renewed through the end of the semester. We will provide updates once we have logistics in place to return them.

Our Help Chat will be staffed by librarians Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Librarians will be available by appointment Monday-Thursday, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Librarians will monitoring our Ask a Librarian questions and email at We will respond to your question as soon as possible.

All books currently checked out will be renewed by library staff through the end of the pandemic closures.
No one will be charged fines during this time.

Interlibrary Loan
Requesting articles through interlibrary loan will continue to operate as normal.

At the present time we are suspending interlibrary loan book requests. Please realize that our lending institutions have suspended their book loans, so we are unable to receive books for you during the closure. If you need assistance with identifying electronic alternatives found in the Trexler Library Ebook Collection please contact Trexler Library Staff for assistance or see the Scholary Ebook Guide.
