Google Scholar searches peer-reviewed academic journals, books, papers, and theses from academic publishers, professional societies, university presses and other scholarly organizations. When searching on campus this version is set to include links to the full text of material to which you have access via our Trexler Library subscriptions. If you are accessing Google Scholar from off campus, you need to set it to recognize you as a DeSales University student. To do this, click on "Settings" at the top of the Google Scholar home page, click on "Library Links" in the left column, type DeSales University in the search box and click the magnifying glass. To retain these settings click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
Google Scholar also includes materials which are not readily available to you in full text. Please complete an Interlibrary Loan form to request these items. Book loans and journal article requests are free of charge. Journal articles will be sent to your DeSales email address. You will be notified when your books arrive.
